Peter and Suzie Arnold and their DGA apprentice, Leo Arnold are hosting an afternoon pasture walk featuring their organic dairy enterprise. The afternoon will include a farm tour, taking a look at the dairy facilities and checking out the out-wintering practices the Arnolds implement for the replacement dairy heifers. Other discussion topics will be nutrition related with a focus on transitioning springing dry cows and heifers. We will also address the ins and outs of understanding forage test analysis sheets. Peter Arnold’s nutritionist will lead the discussion on these nutrition related topics.

Directions: From Highway 29 in western Marathon County, take County Road E south 1.2 miles. Farm will be on the right, (west) side of the road. P.S.~Watch for pasture walk signs
